ADULT PSYCHOLOGY SERVICES

Our team are experienced and specialist HCPC registered Clinical, Counselling and Health Psychologists offering a compassionate and confidential service, based in Berkhamsted, Hertfordshire. Our focus is on understanding your mental health needs and providing tailored support through psychological assessments and evidence-based therapies, to help you understand your needs, gain clarity, and achieve meaningful change.

What Can Psychology Help With?

At the Lotus Psychology Practice, all of our Psychologists are HCPC-registered and have completed a doctorate level degree, with further training in a range of evidence-based therapies. Therapy can provide support for a wide range of mental health and life challenges, including:

Depression, and Anxiety (including Generalised Anxiety Disorder (GAD), Health Anxiety, Emetophobia, Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD), Panic Disorder, Phobias and Social Anxiety)

We have a specialist Adult Health & Neurology Service, supporting adults living with neurological conditions, long-term health conditions, and medically related difficulties.

Prior to your first appointment, you will be asked to complete standardised and validated questionnaire measures, which are used to inform the assessment. A comprehensive psychological assessment is completed across the first two sessions. This helps us to develop a shared understanding of your current difficulties. Following an assessment, you will receive a full report, which includes individualised recommendations and resources, as well as an agreed therapeutic plan and individual goals.

2. Evidence-Based Therapy

Based on the assessment, we will agree the most appropriate therapeutic approach, tailored to you. Psychologists are trained across multiple therapeutic modalities, and the approaches are integrated based on an individuals unique needs. All therapies at The Lotus Psychology Practice are informed by scientific research and are and in line with National Institute for Health and Care Excellence guidelines.
