We are a team of highly specialised Health and Care Professional Council (HCPC) registered Clinical and Counselling Psychologists and mental health care professionals. All Psychologists working at The Lotus Psychology Practice have been specifically selected for their professional expertise to work within our Child & Adolescent, Perinatal & Parent-Infant, and Adult Services. Dr Morvwen Duncan

​​Dr Morvwen Duncan is the Founder and Director of The Lotus Psychology Practice. Alongside her private clinic, Morvwen is Clinical Lead of the Child and Adolescent Harmful Behaviour Service across Oxfordshire and Buckinghamshire NHS Trust. Morvwen has 10+ years of experience across a wide range of NHS settings, including national specialist teams such as the Tic Service and Attachment and Trauma Team at Great Ormond Street Hospital. ​​​​

Counselling Psychologist​

Dr Anthony Green

Dr Anthony Green currently works at City St George's University as as a Lecturer and Counselling Psychologist, supporting undergraduate and postgraduate students experiencing mental health difficulties or requiring support relating to neurodevelopment conditions such as Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder and Autism.​

He has substantial experience working with children and adults in a variety of NHS services, University Counselling Services, special educational needs schools, charities and psychiatric hospitals. Anthony is particular passionate about supporting people with psychological trauma, and relationship difficulties.

Dr Caitlin Neill

Dr Caitlin Neill specialises in working with children, young people and their families. She was worked in NHS practice for over ten years. In her NHS roles, Caitlin works in a London hospital, supporting children and young people with psychological distress as a result of acute and chronic medical and health conditions. She has worked across a range of hospital settings and specialties, including oncology, diabetes, and neonatal care. Prior to this, Caitlin worked in a CAMHS and Child Development Team supporting young people with autism, ADHD and learning needs.

Senior Counselling Psychologist

Dr Sheetal Patel

Dr Sheetal Patel works in the NHS at a large London Hospital providing staff wellbeing support following traumatic incidents. Sheetal has particular expertise in supporting individuals experiencing difficulties relating to menopause and midlife transitions. She is committed to compassionate, evidence based and culturally sensitivity approaches to therapy.

Ruth Fine

Ruth is a Speech and Language Therapist with specialism in diagnosis and support in autism and neurodevelopmental conditions. Ruth has held various voluntary positions including being the current chair of the National Clinical Excellence Network for Speech and Language Therapists working in neurodivergent diagnostic assessment. She is also a clinical tutor and visiting lecturer at UCL.​​​​

Dr Esther Bowen

Dr Esther Bowen is a Health Psychologist working in the NHS alongside her private practice, where she supports adults with neurological and chronic health conditions. In her private practice, she works with adults, children, young people, and their families, taking a client-led, affirming approach and tailoring therapy to each individual’s unique needs and goals. Esther has expertise and a specialist interest in working with neurodivergent individuals as well as those with chronic health conditions.

Dr Emma Hull

Dr Emma Hull has over 8 years experience providing evidence-based therapy to adults, adolescents and families presenting with a wide range of mental health difficulties. Emma currently works for the NHS in an specialist adolescent service, offering holistic therapeutic support to young people experiencing complex mental health difficulties, including periods of intense crisis, suicidality or self-harm. Emma has extensive experience spporting young people and adults who feel low in mood, anxious or have had traumatic experiences.​

Dr Nina Page

Dr Nina Page is a Senior Counselling Psychologist with extensive clinical experience. She has worked in the NHS across specialist services dedicated to supporting individuals with personality disorders, anxiety, trauma, and eating disorders. She currently works in a neonatal unit, providing psychological support to parents and babies during their neonatal journey.

Dr Alina Radu

Dr Alina Radu has over a decade of experience supporting individuals across a wide spectrum of mental health difficulties. Alina specialises in working with trauma, including PTSD, complex PTSD, and the long-term psychological impact of childhood adversity, gender-based violence, and military trauma.

Hannah Baxendale

Hannah has spent over 10 years in healthcare administration and operations. As Practice Manager, Hannah takes care of everything business-related for the practice, allowing the team to focus on what matters most, their clients. Her role involves coordinating various aspects of the practice’s operations to ensure smooth functioning and optimal efficiency.

Dr Lauren Duncan

Dr Lauren Duncan works  across the lifespan with children, young people and adults. She works in the NHS within a Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service (CAMHS) and as a Lecturer at City University. She has particular expertise in work-based stress, emotion-based school avoidance, eating disorders. Lauren has extensive experience supporting neurodiverse young people, with difficulties associated with ADHD or Autism.

Dr Sheena Macalister

Dr Sheena Macalister has over 25 years of experience working across a wide range of clinical settings. Sheena works with adults and young people with a range of difficulties including anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, self-criticism and has specialist experience in supporting people with psychological adjustment to chronic or life limiting illness.

Dr Emma Palluotto

Dr Emma Palluotto has worked in NHS practice for over 10 years. She has worked across a range of services, including child and adult mental health services, and national hospital settings. Currently, Emma supports children and young people with Autism and ADHD. Prior to this, Emma worked in a busy London hospital supporting both adolescents and adults with the psychological impact of living with rare and complex physical health conditions, alongside working in the maternity service supporting women experiencing complex pregnancies. â€‹â€‹

Clinical Psychologist

Dr Merry Wright

Dr Merry Wright has worked with children, young people, adults and families in the NHS and charity settings. Merry currently works within a specialist CAMHS Neurodevelopmental Service in the NHS, where she provides supports neurodivergent children and young people, with mental health needs. She also provides neurodevelopmental assessments of autism, ADHD and intellectual disability.

Director 

Alex Watts

Alex joined The Lotus Psychology Practice in 2024, with a passion for developing projects that will enable the practice to provide low cost or free services to children and young people who would otherwise struggle to access a therapy service. He has several years' experience as a corporate lawyer, during which he routinely advised a number of Fortune 500 companies globally.
