CHILD ADHD ASSESSMENT
We offer specialist assessments of Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) in Berkhamsted. At The Lotus Psychology Practice we comply with NICE (National Institute for Health and Clinical Excellence) guidelines and our assessments are completed by Clinical Psychologists and Qualified Healthcare Professionals with specialist training and experience in diagnosis ADHD. We use gold standard, internationally recognised assessment tools. Our assessments involves gathering information from schools or tutors, a detailed developmental history from parents/carers and a comprehensive assessment with the young person.​
Our Evidence-Based Assessment
​An assessment will involve completing pre-assessment questionnaires about your child, and providing a detailed education history from your child's school. A clinician will meet directly with your child for an in-depth assessment, and will spend time with you to understand your child’s development to date, current strengths and difficulties as well as impact on their functioning.

After the assessment you will be offered a feedback session to discuss the findings and answer any questions you may have.
You will be provided with a detailed report with individualised recommendations that can be shared with schools. This will include signposting to services and information sources.

We are able to offer combined ADHD and Autism Assessments.
Please note, we do not offer a medication or prescribing service. Whilst we guarantee that our assessments are above the standard of NHS ADHD and autism assessment, due to differing NHS service policies regarding private sector assessments, we are unable to guarantee acceptance of our diagnoses with individual NHS services and we advise you to consult with your local NHS ADHD/ autism service prior to assessment.​
